Property Search

In order to find a range of properties for you to view, we put together a list of search criteria. We do this through discussion with you. We come to understand what your needs, wants and dreams are, and you find out from us what sort of properties are available – including some you might not have realised were within your reach.  We then work with our team of agents and developers to gather together a number of property details for you to review.

When you are ready, we can arrange your trip over to the Bay of Roses so that you can view your selection of property alongside us and the relevant agent. Charlesworth Property Services is ideally placed to help you organise all of your travel and accommodation needs. Using our skills, local knowledge and well developed working relationships we can get you the best deals on your flights, car hire or airport pick ups - all of which will help to keep your costs down, so our aim to save our clients money is realised right from the start. On your arrival, we will meet with you to discuss your viewing schedule and tell you about the various agents and developers involved. We would expect to accompany you on the viewings and talk though your feelings and thoughts about next steps after you have seen the property selection. 

Property Purchase

When you have decided which property you would like and are ready to proceed with a purchase, we expect to help you to negotiate the best purchase price possible. To buy property in Spain, you will need to open a bank account and obtain your NIE number (Spanish tax identification number). It is also a good idea to obtain the services of reputable fiscal, legal and mortgage advisers; again we are able to organise these for you. Meanwhile, the agent will be drawing up the relevant contracts and organising your deposit payment which will secure the deal. Money transfer can be arranged through a currency conversion company. We can negotiate the best deals for you in order to secure the best exchange rate, which can save and, indeed, make you money. Once everyone is ready and at an agreed pre-arranged time, all parties involved will meet at the Notary's office to complete the purchase. Charlesworth Property Services will be at your side through out this whole process to make sure that you are happy at each stage of the purchase. If you need to arrange finance we can introduce you to a mortgage broker in the UK or in Catalonia. We can also help you with any insurance needs you may have.    

Removal or Storage of your Furniture

If you have sold your property in the UK or are renting it out, you may need the services of a removal or storage company. We would be more than happy to help you in this by contacting local or international companies on your behalf and liaising with you and the company throughout the process. As always, Charlesworth Property Services will only use reputable companies.
