24th June is Sant Joan Day (midsummer's eve) when the whole of Catalonia celebrates. Here in the Bay of Roses the main event is an amazing free fireworks display that take place on the beach but the whole of the bay is lit up with a beautiful display of colour as the private parties join in with their own fireworks.
